Jai Haines has 20+ years as a multi-media artist, producer, and local community youth advocate promoting cultural awareness & racial equity through public speaking and various artistic platforms such as production, photography and music.
As a DJ and beatmaker, he specializes in creating experimental instruments by way of circuit bending. He has collaborated with the likes of Rahshan Ahmad and MoePoe, performing at the illustrious Lighting in a Bottle (LIB) music festival.
Jai’s career/project highlights include but are not limited to; “What’s Up Wellness” short film series, Youth Ride Against Racism, MTV, SP Magazine editorials, KVMRx On-Air DJ (BBoy Supreme), Prop/Set Designer including Victoria’s Secret. Jai’s artistry is rooted in African culture and is centered around a variety of genres and modalities.
